Making an impact matters. For more than 50 years, the United Fund of LaGrange County has brought people and resources together to meet the changing needs of LaGrange County residents. Today, the United Fund focuses on what matters most: kids, families and our community by working with local organizations to help tackle community issues.

United Fund of LaGrange County is a charitable nonprofit organization that brings people and resources together to promote health, human, and social conditions in LaGrange County by:

· Promoting organizational cooperation

· Stimulating volunteer participation

· Mobilizing and deploying community resources

· Seeking solutions to urgent community problems

The United Fund of LaGrange County works with community groups to utilize financial and human resources in order to solve identified community problems. With the help of area businesses and community volunteers, the organization runs an annual fundraising campaign to support human services providing opportunities to people in need.

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including distributing funds to non-profit organizations. A panel of community volunteers carefully considers each agency’s request and makes recommendations for funding.

The organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors, all of whom live and/or work in LaGrange County.
